Autobiography (story about the life of a car?)
CONTACT INFORMATION
Welcome. This website opened specifically for a show of my work in Tarpon Springs, Florida, USA. The show ran its course in February and March of 2009, and currently, I am resting comfortably in Portugal Cove, NL, where my husband Mike and I have spent the past several summers. Now I have time to fool with this website and re-ignite interest (mine and the viewers').

I like to play with words and images. Many words and phrases lend themselves to a visual interpretation unlike their mundane dictionary definitions. I see a personal responsibility in highlighting these alternate meanings but try to do it in a hopefully artistically pleasing manner.

My T. wrecks demonstrates for you:

TYRANNOSAURUS WRECKS
Look out world!
Here he comes!
The baddest dino with opposable thumbs
Semi trucks are folding fast
But he relishes train parts for his repast
Who knows what victims he'll choose next?
We call him Tyrannosaurus Wrecks

  • No actual trains or semi tractor trailers were harmed in the production of this copperplate etching of 2005.
  • The dinosaur receives full dental coverage along with all the boxcars he can eat
  • The etching is black and white, but the hand coloring is done with a combination of colored pencils and permanent watercolor.
  • This won 4th place at the Dunedin Fine Art Center Show of 2005
  • The image is 6" x 8.75"

Before viewing additional works you may want to  read my autobiography.
Note: "my autobiography" is a totally redundant term. Who else's autobiography could it be but mine?

This is the foot of the page. It's a good idea to get a toe in the door or a leg up while keeping abreast of things with your nose to the grindstone, an ear to the pavement, an eye on the tiger,  or a finger in every pot. That latter is only good for those with cannibalistic tendencies. Personally, I would hope to be a long liver.
