This was our campsite view at Hovenweep National Monument in southeastern Utah. Across a canyon, and along a slick-rock trail were several Ancestral Puebloan (Anasazi) structures including Curved Wall House. The buildings date to about the 13the century. Nearby rock art has been interpreted as a summer solstice marker.
