Just east of Phoenix, Arizona, Lost Dutchman State Park sits at the Superstition Mountains' base. The park's name derives from the German prospector Jacob Waltz who may or may not have found a fabulous fortune in gold.  To this day, fortune hunters seek the Lost Dutchman's gold mine.
