My Prints are For the Birds

Joe Cool ibis
For the ongoing 24Hands Printmakers' Group show scheduled to begin 5/2/26 at the Palm Harbor Library, I've created 4 new drypoint engravings on polycarbonate. Each stars a bird as central character. Since this is a group show with uniform labeling, I'm unable to include my usual poems on the labels. To circumvent this inconvenience, I'll provide the poems here although you'll need to further view the website to see the print images:
WHO? ME?
"Who? Me?" said the owl
When he wanted to screech
We don't hoot "who"
We use screeching for speech
But somehow he had managed to hoot
And embarrassed himself, the silly old coot.
WHO'S FIRST?
The chick pops out of broken shell
Looks around, says, "What the L "
An answer from you all I beg
Was I here first or was the egg?
JOE COOL IBIS
An ibis usually is white
And Joe Cool has a similar plight
Though looking no different than the rest
He made his abode a psychedelic nest
AT THE BRANCH OFFICE
Atop the oak sits big boss hawk
Below him working on the clock
Is the office staff, a careful bunch
Avoiding becoming the boss' lunch.
